In contrast to many other Alpine valleys, Brixental Valley does not end in a valley head, but is open on both sides. It connects the Inntal valley in the west with the Kitzbühel region in the east. The charming and historic village of Brixen im Thale is nestled in the middle of the Brixental Valley, approx. 10 minutes by car from Kitzbühel.
